<p>We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our practice in Port Saint Lucie, FL. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality mental health care to patients across the lifespan, delivering comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and treatment plans.</p>
<h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Responsibilities</b></h2>
<ul><li>Conduct psychiatric assessments and evaluations to diagnose mental health conditions.</li>
<li>Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medication management and psychotherapy.</li>
<li>Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide holistic patient care.</li>
<li>Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.</li>
<li>Educate patients and families about mental health conditions and treatment options.</li>
<li>Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.</li>
<li>Stay current with best practices and emerging trends in psychiatric-mental health care.</li>
</ul><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Qualifications</b></h2>
<ul><li>Current and valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Florida.</li>
<li>Must have DEA number.</li>
<li>Certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) or equivalent.</li>
<li>Experience in psychiatric or mental health nursing preferred.</li>
<li>Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.</li>
<li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.</li>
<li>Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.</li>
<li>Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.</li>
