Job descriptionDescription:We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Bookkeeper and Administrative Assistant. This position requires a combination of accounting knowledge, attention to detail, and strong administrative skills.Requirements:Job Qualifications:Education: High School diploma or equivalent. Associate&rsquo;s or Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in accounting, business administration, or equivalent business experience.Experience: Minimum of two years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting. Previous experience in an administrative assistant role is a plus.Preferred Qualifications: Experience with payroll processing. Familiarity with office equipment and software. Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.Skills:&middot; Proficient in accounting software&middot; Strong knowledge of basic bookkeeping principles.&middot; Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.&middot; Strong attention to detail and accuracy.&middot; Excellent written and verbal communication skills.&middot; Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.&middot; Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team&middot; Strong communications and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work well with people at all levels of the organization.&middot; Well-developed problem identification and problem-solving skills, with an orientation to details.Bookkeeping Duties:*Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in accounting software including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.*Process and reconcile bank and credit card statements on a regular basis.*Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.*Monitor and manage invoices, payments, and billing inquiries.*Work with external accountants or auditors during year-end audits or other financial reviews.Administrative Support Duties:*Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and direct inquiries to appropriate team members.*Maintain and organize office files, both digital and physical.*Manage the renewal and audit process for insurance policies.*Schedule meetings, manage conference registrations, calendars, and assist with travel arrangements. ? Support senior leadership in various administrative tasks as neededPhysical and Mental Efforts:General: Position requires the ability to concentrate on details despite occasional interruptions and to attend to tasks for 45 to 60 minutes at a time. Ability to understand theories behind related concepts and to remember multiple tasks given to self and others over periods of time; ability to prioritize given shifting priorities; ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written form.Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hourWork Location: In person
