We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Veterinary Doctor who is confident in small animal medicine and surgery and who enjoys working in a collaborative, supportive environment.This role offers exposure to clinical cases, surgical procedures, and preventive care, along with responsibility for the health and comfort of dogs and cats staying in our boarding and hotel facilities.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Examine and assess the health of dogs and cats</li><li>Diagnose conditions and develop effectivemedical and surgical treatment plans</li><li>Perform soft tissue and specialized surgeries, including spaying, neutering, dental, ophthalmic, and orthopedic procedures</li><li>Manage wounds, fractures, and emergency cases</li><li>Conduct diagnostic testing (blood work, urinalysis, X-rays)</li><li>Administer vaccinations and medical treatments (injections, oral medications, IV therapy, blood transfusions)</li><li>Provide in-patient care, monitoring, and follow-up treatment</li><li>Carry out routine health checks for animals staying in boarding and hotel care</li><li>Advise pet owners on nutrition, preventive healthcare, de-worming, flea/tick control, and general care</li><li>Maintain high standards of hygiene and biosecurity</li><li>Ensure accurate medical documentation and reporting</li><li>Make ethical clinical decisions, including humane euthanasia when medically necessary</li><li>Support and guide veterinary nurses and trainees</li></ul>Skills &amp; Competencies<ul><li>Strong knowledge of small animal medicine and behavior</li><li>Compassionate, calm, and confident in clinical decision-making</li><li>Excellent surgical and diagnostic skills</li><li>Proactive, responsible, and detail-oriented</li><li>Comfortable working in a structured, shift-based environment</li><li>Strong communication and customer service skills</li><li>High professional and ethical standards</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Licensing<ul><li>Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from an accredited institution</li><li>Master&rsquo;s Degree in Veterinary Medicine required for candidates without a Qatar veterinary license</li><li>Minimum 3&ndash;5 years of experience in small animal practice</li><li>Qatar veterinary license or eligibility to obtain one</li></ul>Working Environment<ul><li>Planned rotational shifts supporting continuous animal care</li><li>Work schedules designed to ensure balanced workload and continuity of service</li><li>Modern, well-equipped examination and surgical facilities</li><li>Supportive team culture focused on excellence and compassion</li></ul>Apply with your updated CV and join a team committed to exceptional veterinary care.Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, ContractPay: From QAR8,000.00 per month
