<ul><li>Planning and developing merchandising strategies for textile Industry</li><li>Plan and develop merchandising strategies that balance customers&rsquo; expectations and company&rsquo;s objectives</li><li>Collaborating with buyers, suppliers, distributors and analysts to negotiate prices, quantities and time-scales</li><li>Monitoring sales and identifying any losses or stock wastage</li><li>Working with suppliers and distributors to negotiate prices and order large volumes</li><li>Collaborate with executives, marketers and salespeople to set prices that are good for the market and profit</li><li>Getting to know the customer base and understanding their motivation and sales drivers</li><li>Reviewing customer feedback to predict sales trends and seasonal stock demand</li><li>Briefing staff on stock display and rotation to ensure every space is optimized</li><li>Researching and monitoring industry trends and consumer behavior to anticipate demand and changes in buying patterns</li><li>Making predictions based on sales data, customer feedback and market trends</li><li>Assessing the effectiveness of different product displays and store layouts on sales figures</li><li>Reviewing competitors, including pricing, profit, marketing and other progress</li><li>Maximize customer interest and sales levels by displaying products appropriately</li><li>Monitor stock movement and consider markdowns, promotions, price changes, clear outs etc.</li><li>Build constructive customer relationships and team with channel partners to build pipeline and close deals</li><li>Remain up to date with industry&rsquo;s best practices</li><li>Creating and organizing promotions and advertising campaigns</li><li>Gathering information on market trends and customers&rsquo; reactions to products</li><li>Optimize sales volume and profitability by identifying profitable lines and bestsellers</li><li>Make recommendations for promotional strategies using sales and pricing data</li><li>Work and communicate with buyers, suppliers, stores, and distributors</li><li>Conducts research and testing, to design and develop new textile materials and</li><li>products and optimize existing textile materials and products as approved.</li><li>Researches and studies textile materials, including fibers, yarn and fabrics, to design</li><li>quality products and determine new production techniques</li><li>Coordinate R&amp;D efforts with Marketing, Manufacturing, and Quality Assurance regarding product and fabric feasibility and time frames for product development and</li><li>maintain updates on project status utilizing approved project management tool.</li><li>Chooses and implements analysis and testing techniques used in the test characterization of materials and coordinates physical testing and evaluation of raw materials and finished products in order to establish comprehensive new product specifications and is also responsible to maintain current product specifications.</li><li>Investigates and resolves work-in process problems and daily operating variances, troubleshooting for resolution.</li><li>Support new business development efforts through leading application</li><li>development, projects and customer contact.</li><li>Responsible for product and material certifications / approvals by appropriate agency when required.</li><li>Plan manufacturing order releases and follow-up with the suppliers.</li><li>Any other duties as assigned by Management.</li></ul><p>Job Type: Full-time</p><p>Pay: From AED3,000.00 per month</p>
