If you&rsquo;re eager to kick-start your career in logistics and transportation, this is the perfect opportunity to learn from industry professionals and contribute to efficient supply chain solutions.Responsibilities<ul><li>Assist with dispatching freight shipments by coordinating with drivers, carriers, and warehouse teams using transportation management systems such as Oracle Transportation Management or SyteLine.</li><li>Support the scheduling of pickups and deliveries by utilizing GPS technology and GIS (Geographic Information Systems) tools for route optimization.</li><li>Enter data accurately into shipping &amp; receiving logs, AS400 systems, and other logistics databases to ensure real-time tracking of shipments.</li><li>Communicate effectively with drivers, carriers, and internal teams via multi-line phone systems, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.</li><li>Help monitor fleet management activities, including vehicle status updates and compliance with transportation planning protocols.</li><li>Assist in analyzing transportation data to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements within the supply chain.</li><li>Support shipping &amp; receiving operations by coordinating freight movement and maintaining organized records of all dispatch activities.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret data related to freight movement and logistics operations.</li><li>Basic understanding of freight operations, shipping &amp; receiving procedures, and fleet management concepts is a plus.</li><li>Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
