 One of our clients in the food manufacturing industry is looking to bring on a Refrigeration Technician to support their cutting-edge freeze-drying facility. This person will be responsible for maintaining and servicing refrigeration systems, while also supporting general maintenance.
 
 
 
 
 
 Location
 
 : Allentown, PA
 
 
 
 Shifts
 
 : Weekend (Friday - Monday) 6am - 4pm
 
 
 
 Compensation
 
 : $40-47/hr
 
 
 
 
 
 Key Responsibilities:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Monitor, report, and follow up on any conditions that may affect
 
 team member safety
 
 ,
 
 product quality
 
 , or
 
 food safety
 
 </li>
 <li>
 Diagnose issues, perform repairs, and conduct
 
 preventive and predictive maintenance
 
 on
 
 industrial refrigeration systems
 
 ,
 
 HVAC units
 
 ,
 
 building infrastructure
 
 , and
 
 utility systems
 
 </li>
 <li>
 Execute
 
 corrective maintenance
 
 on production equipment to reduce downtime and maintain operational efficiency
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure all
 
 work orders
 
 -both planned and unplanned-are completed accurately and provide timely feedback to operators as needed
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain detailed and accurate records to ensure compliance with all
 
 regulatory and safety standards
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 Qualifications:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 
 High school diploma or GED
 
 required
 </li>
 <li>
 Minimum of
 
 5 years of experience
 
 in refrigeration, including
 
 journeyman-level training
 
 ,
 
 apprenticeship certification
 
 , or an equivalent combination of
 
 technical education and hands-on experience
 
 </li>
 <li>
 Demonstrated expertise in
 
 advanced troubleshooting
 
 of refrigeration systems
 </li>
 <li>
 Proficient in reading and interpreting
 
 electrical and refrigeration meters
 
 </li>
 <li>
 Possession of a valid
 
 U.S. EPA Universal Certification
 
 </li>
 <li>
 Basic understanding of
 
 instrumentation
 
 and
 
 control logic systems
 
 </li>
 </ul>
