 Permits Coordinator (Full Time) &ndash; Daphne, AL
 
 
 
 Apply for, track and maintain all permits required for new community start-ups, as well as the building permits on all houses under signed contract.
 
 
 
 Job Duties &amp; Responsibilities
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Request and track all plot plans, engineered plans and other required items per municipality requirements.
 </li>
 <li>
 Request and track permit applications on a daily basis .
 </li>
 <li>
 Communicate effectively with local city governments, permit runners and inter-office departments to ensure timely receipt of permits.
 </li>
 <li>
 Establish and maintain good builder relations with all permitting offices.
 </li>
 <li>
 Distribute new municipality and utilities information regarding fee increases or changes in procedures to the Production Admin. Manager.
 </li>
 <li>
 Interpret permitting issues that arise, and implement actions in a timely manner
 </li>
 <li>
 Manage all slab and permit start emails to alert all key personnel of any issues that arise (swing changes, etc.)
 </li>
 <li>
 Perform other duties as assigned by Production Mangers.

 Job Requirements &amp; Skills
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Minimum 2 years&rsquo; experience in a residential construction environment, preferably in the permits department.
 </li>
 <li>
 High School diploma or equivalent required.
 </li>
 <li>
 Must be a self-starter and detail oriented.
 </li>
 <li>
 Exceptional knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to work in a team environment.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize.
