Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Technician to join our logistics and distribution team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficient materials handling, order picking, shipping and receiving, and operating heavy equipment within a fast-paced warehouse environment. This role requires a strong understanding of warehouse operations, safety protocols, and mechanical systems to ensure smooth and safe warehouse functions.Duties<ul><li>Perform order picking using RF scanners and warehouse management systems to accurately fulfill customer orders.</li><li>Load and unload shipments utilizing forklifts, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and other heavy equipment while adhering to OSHA safety standards.</li><li>Operate cranes and other heavy machinery for materials handling and movement within the warehouse.</li><li>Manage shipping and receiving processes, including verifying incoming and outgoing shipments.</li><li>Maintain inventory accuracy through proper materials handling and documentation.</li><li>Conduct routine inspections of equipment such as forklifts, cranes, and mechanical tools to ensure operational safety and efficiency.</li><li>Assist in warehouse organization, including stacking pallets, managing storage areas, and ensuring a clean work environment.</li><li>Support warehouse supervision with tasks related to warehouse distribution, order fulfillment, and process improvements.</li><li>Pick orders, breakdown pallets, and stage per order</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Proven experience in warehouse distribution, order picking, shipping &amp; receiving, or related roles.</li><li>Experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, cranes, clamp trucks, and pallet jacks.</li><li>Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to warehouse operations.</li><li>Mechanical knowledge beneficial for troubleshooting equipment issues.</li><li>Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners for inventory control.</li><li>Prior experience with materials handling in construction or industrial environments is a plus.</li><li>Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.</li><li>Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in order picking and inventory management.</li></ul>This position offers an engaging work environment where safety, efficiency, and teamwork are prioritized.
