This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in food and beverage service while working in a fast-paced, energetic environment.Duties<ul><li>Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and other beverages according to established recipes and standards</li><li>Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling</li><li>Greet customers warmly, take their orders efficiently, and provide excellent customer service throughout their visit</li><li>Manage cash register operations, including cash handling, credit card transactions, and balancing cash drawers at shift end</li><li>Maintain cleanliness and organization of the caf&eacute; area, including food preparation stations and seating areas</li><li>Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures to ensure quality and safety standards are met</li><li>Assist with food preparation tasks such as assembling snacks or light food items as needed</li><li>Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining accuracy in transactions</li><li>Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Proven experience as a barista with knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and beverage customization</li><li>Previous cashiering experience using POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS</li><li>Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests</li><li>Excellent time management skills to handle high-volume periods efficiently</li><li>Basic math skills for cash handling, giving correct change, and sales calculations</li><li>Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures in a caf&eacute; or food service setting</li><li>Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail</li><li>Familiarity with retail math concepts related to sales and inventory management is a plus</li></ul>Join us in creating memorable experiences for every guest by combining your passion for coffee, exceptional service skills, and enthusiasm for teamwork.
