<div>Responsibilities include:
<ul>
<li>Inspect, operate, maintain and calibrate respiratory equipment (oxygen equipment, Cpap, ventilators, and high flow) and other life support systems.</li>
<li>Use invasive and noninvasive technology to assist with treatment of cardiopulmonary disorders.</li>
<li>Pt. Assessment /Administration of Medication via Nebulizer.</li>
<li>Follow weaning protocols as per MD orders.</li>
<li>Administer advanced cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and provide mechanical ventilation for adults.</li>
</ul>
Qualifications include:
<ul>
<li>Minimum of an Associate&rsquo;s Degree in Respiratory Care required.</li>
<li>Experience preferred in Respiratory Care.</li>
<li>Must demonstrate knowledge of all Respiratory Care equipment in terms of applications, limitations, troubleshooting, and alternative course of actions.</li>
<li>Must possess a broad scope of knowledge in cardiopulmonary and respiratory care treatment of disease.</li>
</ul>
Licensure:
<ul>
<li>Must possess a current valid NYS license or certificate as a Respiratory Therapist.</li>
<li>Currently active and registered with the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).</li>
<li>BLS certification required.</li>
</ul>
