MAINTENANCE I JOB DESCRIPTION General Description: Under general supervision of the Park Maintenance Supervisor, this position performs general maintenance duties as directed.Education and Experience:High school diploma (in progress) or equivalent. Knowledge or experience with pool maintenance, landscape maintenance, small tool operation and repair, welding and large equipment operation and maintenance such as tractors and large riding lawn mowers helpful.Example of Duties: Landscape Maintenance Mowing Lawns Hedge Trimming Planting Weeding Bathroom Maintenance and Cleaning Picnic Area Maintenance Pool Maintenance Baseball Field Maintenance Horse Arena Maintenance Irrigation System Maintenance Painting General Repair and Maintenance of all District Maintenance EquipmentLicenses and Certifications: Possession of a valid California driver&rsquo;s license and a current Department of Motor Vehicles printout at time of interviews. Loss of license could result in termination or disciplinary action. Pre-employment physical and background screening required.
