MAINTENANCE I

JOB DESCRIPTION

General Description:

Under general supervision of the Park Maintenance Supervisor, this position performs general maintenance duties as directed.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma (in progress) or equivalent. Knowledge or experience with pool maintenance, landscape maintenance, small tool operation and repair, welding and large equipment operation and maintenance such as tractors and large riding lawn mowers helpful.

General Repair and Maintenance of all District Maintenance Equipment

Licenses and Certifications:

Possession of a valid California driver’s license and a current Department of Motor Vehicles printout at time of interviews. Loss of license could result in termination or disciplinary action.
Pre-employment physical and background screening required. Employees not reporting unsafe conditions will be counseled.
