Painter and Polisher

<p>PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES</p>
<ul><li>Opens and closes the doors for guests of the hotel.</li><li>Greets arriving and departing guests using the Dusit Standard of greeting.</li><li>Call the attention of the Bell Service Agent to unload the luggage from the car of an arriving guest.</li><li>Unloads the luggage of guests until the Bellman brings them inside.</li><li>Ensures that the main entrance is manned at all times.</li><li>Assists guest in giving directions and information needed.</li><li>Maintain smooth flow of traffic at the front landing area.</li><li>Must have knowledge of the hotel facilities, activities and services.</li><li>Assist security by reporting undesirables or suspicious looking people within the hotel property.</li><li>Ensures the cleanliness of the Main Entrance and the Lobby area.</li><li>Ensures cleanliness of guest elevators and landing area and sees to it that all elevator buttons are working.</li><li>Assist guests in boarding elevators ensuring their safety.</li><li>Assist handicapped visitors and guest from the car into and out of the hotel.</li><li>Assists guests/patrons in hailing of taxis.</li><li>Assist guest in paging their drivers at the parking area.</li></ul>

<ul><li>Prepares reports on all accidents or unusual incidents in his area of responsibility.</li></ul>

<p>PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES</p>
<p>
1. To have a complete operational knowledge of the Hotel including the geographical layout, facilities and operation times of outlets.<br>
2. To supervise the day to day running of the Department.<br>
3. Prepare weekly Duty Roster ensuring all shifts are adequately covered.<br>
4. Schedule Annual Leave for staff.<br>
5. Produce a Training Plan for Department.<br>
6. To have complete knowledge of the local area.<br>
7. To have complete knowledge of tours and excursions.</p>
<p>
OTHER DUTIES</p>
<p>
1. Assist guests with all inquiries.<br>
2. Book tours &amp; excursions for guests.<br>
3. Arrange car hires.<br>
4. Brief Departments on daily and weekly events.<br>
5. Ensure all training records are kept up to date.<br>
6. Training of staff.<br>

9. Organize with Taxi Company to ensure cars are always available.<br>

11. Directing all Concierge Staff.<br>
12. Coordinates with Front office to execute efficient arrival and departure formalities.<br>
13. Coordinates with outside Companies for networking.<br>
14. Coordinates with all hotel departments for transport schedules.</p>

</p><p>1. Bachelor degree in any discipline. A degree in Hospitality will be a plus.<br>
2. Minimum of 5 years in Front Office or Concierge experience in a similar capacity, preferably in a 5 star class environment.<br>
