This paid position offers a fantastic opportunity to grow your skills in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment dedicated to oral health excellence.Responsibilities<ul><li>Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up dental tools, and ensuring all equipment is functioning properly</li><li>Assist dentists during various procedures including general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry treatments</li><li>Take and develop X-ray images while adhering to HIPAA regulations and infection control protocols</li><li>Manage patient records using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality</li><li>Collect vital signs and medical history information to support comprehensive patient assessments</li><li>Provide chairside assistance with dental terminology, medical documentation, and medical coding as needed</li><li>Support the dental receptionist by scheduling appointments, confirming patient information, and managing patient flow efficiently</li><li>Maintain aseptic technique during procedures to prevent infection and ensure patient safety</li><li>Operate advanced dental technology including 3D scanners and medical imaging devices for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning</li><li>Educate patients on oral health practices, post-treatment care, and the importance of infection control measures</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Proven experience working in a dental clinic environment with knowledge of general dentistry procedures</li><li>Familiarity with EMR systems such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft; experience with Epic is a plus</li><li>Strong understanding of dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, infection control practices, and aseptic techniques</li><li>Ability to perform X-ray procedures accurately while maintaining safety standards for patients and staff</li><li>Knowledge of pediatric dentistry principles and experience working with children is highly desirable</li><li>Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages and collaborate with the dental team</li><li>Certification or training in chairside assisting, medical terminology, or related fields preferred</li><li>Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail</li></ul>Join us in transforming smiles through compassionate care!
