We are committed to fostering a supportive environment where your professional growth and patient well-being are prioritized.Responsibilities<ul><li>Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing, to maintain optimal oral health for patients of all ages.</li><li>Conduct patient assessments by taking medical histories and evaluating oral health status to inform treatment plans.</li><li>Manage medical imaging procedures such as X-rays while adhering to safety protocols and infection control standards.</li><li>Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to empower their health decisions.</li><li>Maintain accurate documentation of patient records, treatment notes, and medical histories in electronic medical record (EMR) systems like Dentrix.</li><li>Follow HIPAA guidelines strictly to ensure patient confidentiality and secure handling of medical records.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Valid licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist in accordance with state regulations.</li><li>Proven experience in general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, or dental clinics with familiarity in pediatric dentistry is highly desirable.</li><li>Proficiency with EMR systems such as Dentrix for documentation review and medical coding.</li><li>Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control procedures, aseptic techniques, and medical terminology.</li><li>Excellent communication skills to educate patients clearly and compassionately about their oral health needs.
