Job Summary Join our compassionate team as a Caregiver in the vibrant Katy area, providing essential support to individuals with diverse needs in various care settings. This rewarding role involves assisting clients with daily activities, ensuring their safety, and promoting independence through personalized care. As a vital member of our caregiving community, you will help enhance the quality of life for those you serve by delivering attentive, respectful, and professional care in a nurturing environment.Responsibilities<ul><li>Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support. </li><li>Monitor patients&rsquo; vital signs and observe their overall health status to identify any changes or concerns promptly. </li><li>Administer medications and follow care plans accurately while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy. </li><li>Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary. </li><li>Support clients during outings or community activities, fostering social engagement and independence. </li><li>Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning patient areas and laundry. </li><li>Use specialized equipment like Hoyer lifts or resident&rsquo;s personal assistive devices to ensure safe transfers and mobility assistance.</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments is highly preferred. </li><li>Demonstrated knowledge of patient observation, medication administration, and vital signs monitoring. </li><li>Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, Alzheimer&rsquo;s disease, dementia, or autism spectrum disorder is advantageous. </li><li>Familiarity with care plans, HIPAA compliance, and documentation procedures related to patient care. </li><li>Hands-on experience in providing compassionate senior care or hospice support is a plus. </li><li>Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively when assisting residents with mobility or transfers. </li><li>Strong communication skills for working collaboratively with healthcare teams, social workers, and family members to ensure comprehensive patient support.
