Department: Projects / Construction Reporting To: Project Manager / Site In-ChargeJob PurposeThe PEB Erection Supervisor is responsible for supervising and executing the safe, accurate, and timely erection of pre-engineered steel structures at project sites, in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations, ensuring smooth project execution up to completion and handover.Key Responsibilities. Erection &amp; Site Supervision<ul><li>Supervise erection of steel structures, including columns, rafters, beams, bracing, purlins, girts, and accessories.</li><li>Ensure erection activities are carried out strictly as per approved PEB drawings, erection plans, BOQs, and method statements.</li><li>Monitor and control the erection sequence and daily work activities to achieve planned targets.</li><li>Check alignment, levelling, plumbing, and bolting of all structural members.</li></ul>2. Drawing &amp; Technical Coordination<ul><li>Read, understand, and interpret structural, erection, and fabrication drawings.</li><li>Identify drawing discrepancies and coordinate with engineering and project teams for clarification and resolution.</li><li>Provide on-site technical guidance and solutions for erection-related issues.</li></ul>3. Team &amp; Resource Coordination<ul><li>Coordinate with site supervisors, riggers, crane operators, and labour teams to ensure efficient workflow.</li><li>Plan daily manpower, equipment, and crane requirements.</li><li>Coordinate with fabrication, dispatch, and project management teams for material availability and site readiness.</li></ul>4. Safety &amp; Compliance<ul><li>Ensure strict compliance with safety rules, approved lifting plans, PPE usage, and statutory requirements.</li><li>Conduct and participate in toolbox talks, safety briefings, and hazard identification activities.</li><li>Ensure safe crane operations, lifting methods, and proper use of tools and tackle.</li><li>Report unsafe acts, near-misses, and incidents immediately as per company safety procedures.</li></ul>5. Quality Control<ul><li>Ensure erection quality meets company standards, client specifications, and applicable codes.</li><li>Verify proper tightening of bolts, use of correct fasteners, and erection tolerances.</li><li>Assist in inspections by clients, consultants, and internal quality teams.</li></ul>6. Reporting &amp; Documentation<ul><li>Prepare and submit daily progress reports, including erection status, manpower, crane usage, and material consumption.</li><li>Report site issues, delays, shortages, and technical challenges to the Project Manager.</li><li>Maintain site records related to erection activities and coordination.</li></ul>7. Project Completion &amp; Handover<ul><li>Assist in achieving project milestones, completion, and rectification of punch list items.</li><li>Support final inspections, documentation, and smooth handover of the project to the client.</li><li>Ensure demobilisation of manpower and equipment after completion.</li></ul>Required Skills &amp; Competencies<ul><li>Strong knowledge of PEB structures and steel erection methods.</li><li>Ability to read and interpret structural and erection drawings.</li><li>Basic understanding of cranes, lifting plans, rigging practices, and site safety.</li><li>Good communication, leadership, and team coordination skills.</li><li>Practical problem-solving ability to handle on-site technical challenges.</li><li>Awareness of construction safety norms and quality standards.</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Experience<ul><li>Diploma / ITI / Graduate in Civil, Mechanical, or relevant field (preferred).</li><li>Minimum 2&ndash;5 years of experience in PEB or steel structure erection projects.</li><li>Experience working with cranes and large steel components will be an advantage.</li></ul>Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per monthBenefits:<ul><li>Provident Fund</li></ul>Work Location: In person
