 JOB OBJECTIVE
 
 
 
 To ensure a safe and healthy working environment by implementing and monitoring HSE policies, conducting regular inspections, providing training, and promoting compliance with local regulations and international best practices. The HSE Officer will proactively identify risks and lead initiatives to mitigate hazards across all operations, with a focus on warehouse and logistics environments.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 DESCRIPTION
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Conduct regular inspections, risk assessments, and audits to ensure compliance with HSE standards.
 </li>
 <li>
 Enforce safety procedures and guidelines in line with local legal requirements and company policy.
 </li>
 <li>
 Deliver HSE induction and ongoing training to all employees and contractors.
 </li>
 <li>
 Investigate and report all incidents, near-misses, and unsafe conditions, and implement corrective/preventive actions.
 </li>
 <li>
 Monitor usage and condition of safety equipment, PPE, fire extinguishers, first aid kits, etc.
 </li>
 <li>
 Support warehouse and logistics operations by ensuring safe use of equipment and adherence to aterial handling protocols.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain accurate records of inspections, incidents, training sessions, and permits.
 </li>
 <li>
 Participate in emergency response planning and drills.
 </li>
 <li>
 Promote a strong safety culture through awareness campaigns and employee engagement.
 </li>

 QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS &amp; COMPETENCIES
 
 
 
 
 Minimum Qualifications:
 
 
 <ul>

 Bachelor&rsquo;s degree or diploma in Occupational Health &amp; Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.
 </li>

 Minimum Experience:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 5 years of experience in a similar HSE role, preferably in warehouse, logistics, or industrial environments.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 Job-Specific Skills:

 Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, safety codes, and standards.
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience with incident investigation and root cause analysis.

 </li>

 Successfully create business from new and existing customer accounts

 Manage complex negotiations with senior-level executives

 Day to Day Operations
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Receiving/Generating sales lead.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain a minimum number of 5 quality customer visits on all business days. This should include cold calling and prescheduled meetings.
 </li>
 <li>
 Sales visits should be recorded on CRM systems on daily basis before the end of business day.
 </li>
 <li>
 Since the Account management is also a part of their job responsibility, sales executives can include their existing customer visits also into their daily visit target.
 </li>
 <li>
 Sales executives should carry out the customer profiling using the customer profile template during their initial visit/call. A detailed service requirement should be gathered to generate the proposal.
 </li>
 <li>
 Sending customer requirements to operations department for quotation and workflow.
 </li>
 <li>
 Process information received and preparation of initial proposal with company profile.
 </li>
 <li>
 Approaching for sales meeting with client, keeping relevant company details intact.
 </li>
 <li>
 Perform constant follow up by email and phone or by visiting with the customer to gather their feedback.
 </li>
 <li>
 Confirm/negotiate price.
 </li>
 <li>
 Confirmation of price leads to draft contract/SLA negotiation.
 </li>
 <li>
 Rejection of price will lead to keep customer details in record for future reference.
 </li>
 <li>
 Contract/SLA with legal department approval forward for signature.
 </li>
 <li>
 Account opening in CRM system with finance approval.
 </li>
 <li>
 Customer basic training to use CRM through IT department.
 </li>
 <li>
 Starts receiving shipments/follow up orders.
 </li>
 <li>
 Keeping track of client operations and account service protocols.
 </li>
 <li>
 Sales/account manager should be first face of the customer. Any day today issues/complaints should be addressed and managed by them by communicating internally with the respective stake holders.
 </li>
