What You'll Do
Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Care for infants throughout the day (feeding, diapering, soothing, play)</li><li>
Support daily classroom routines and transitions</li><li>
Keep the classroom clean, organized, and peaceful</li><li>
Talk, sing, and engage with babies throughout the day</li><li>
Work as part of a supportive team</li><li>
Ensure excellence and compliance with state licensing regulations, FOCUS standards, and East Gate Kids policies.</li><li>
Engage in continuous growth-participate in trainings, workshops, and professional development to strengthen your craft.</li><li>
Support a classroom culture rooted in safety, belonging, curiosity, and joy</li></ul>
Qualifications
We welcome educators at different stages of their journey.
You should have:<ul><li>
A LOVE of infants</li><li>
Knowledge of child development and play-based learning</li><li>
High energy, creativity, and compassion for children and families.</li><li>
CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)</li><li>
Ability to work collaboratively in a purpose-driven, mission-minded team that values excellence and heart.</li></ul>
Preferred:<ul><li>
2 years of professional childcare / teaching experience</li><li>
A CDC, AA, or BA in Early Childhood Education or be actively pursuing one</li><li>
Or, actively seeking to earn a degree in Early Childhood Education through the ECECD Scholarship or similar program.</li></ul>
