You'll work alongside a Lead Teacher to create a calm, safe, and nurturing environment where infants can grow and thrive.

What You'll Do

Key Responsibilities:

• Care for infants throughout the day (feeding, diapering, soothing, play)
• Support daily classroom routines and transitions
• Keep the classroom clean, organized, and peaceful
• Talk, sing, and engage with babies throughout the day
• Work as part of a supportive team
• Ensure excellence and compliance with state licensing regulations, FOCUS standards, and East Gate Kids policies.
• Engage in continuous growth-participate in trainings, workshops, and professional development to strengthen your craft.
• Support a classroom culture rooted in safety, belonging, curiosity, and joy

Qualifications

We welcome educators at different stages of their journey.

You should have:

• A LOVE of infants
• Knowledge of child development and play-based learning
• High energy, creativity, and compassion for children and families.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to work collaboratively in a purpose-driven, mission-minded team that values excellence and heart.

Preferred:

• 2 years of professional childcare / teaching experience
• A CDC, AA, or BA in Early Childhood Education or be actively pursuing one
• Or, actively seeking to earn a degree in Early Childhood Education through the ECECD Scholarship or similar program.
