Our restaurant group is opening a new location in the American Tobacco Campus in Durham! East of Texas is a Tex-Mex BBQ restaurant with a casual service style, focused on hospitality and delicious food &amp; drinks! We are looking for dishwashers to join our kitchen team!Duties<ul><li>Thoroughly wash dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using proper cleaning techniques</li><li>Follow food safety sanitizing procedures to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations</li><li>Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including basic chopping or ingredient handling under supervision</li><li>Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including dishwashers and other cleaning tools</li><li>Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and ensure all sanitation standards are met throughout your shift</li><li>Handle manual lifting of heavy pots, trays, and bulk supplies safely while adhering to proper ergonomic practices</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Previous experience in a food service or restaurant environment</li><li>Knowledge of food safety management and sanitation practices is advantageous</li><li>Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment such as commercial dishwashers or similar machinery is a plus</li><li>Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting</li><li>Strong understanding of kitchen health and safety standards to maintain a secure work environment</li><li>Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards serving others in hospitality settings</li></ul>Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hourApplication Question(s):<ul><li>Have you ever been convicted of a crime?</li><li>Are you available to work weekends - Friday, Saturday, &amp; Sunday?</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Dishwashing: 1 year (Preferred)</li></ul>Shift availability:<ul><li>Day Shift (Preferred)</li><li>Night Shift (Preferred)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
