Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for animal care and possess the skills necessary to assist veterinarians in providing high-quality medical care to a variety of animals. This role requires proficiency in veterinary terminology, animal handling, and the ability to perform various clinical procedures. The Veterinary Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring the well-being of our patients while supporting pet owners through their veterinary experience.Responsibilities<ul><li>Assist veterinarians during examinations and surgical procedures.</li><li>Perform animal handling and restraint techniques to ensure the safety of both animals and staff.</li><li>Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as directed by the veterinarian.</li><li>Conduct routine laboratory tests and prepare samples for analysis.</li><li>Monitor anesthesia during surgical procedures and provide post-operative care.</li><li>Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for each patient.</li><li>Educate pet owners on proper animal husbandry, health care, and nutrition.</li><li>Manage kennel operations, including cleaning</li><li>Utilize veterinary terminology effectively in communication with team members and clients.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Strong skills in animal handling, restraint, and catheterization techniques.</li><li>Familiarity with veterinary terminology and procedures is essential.</li><li>Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.</li><li>Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.</li><li>A genuine love for animals and commitment to their welfare.</li><li>Prior experience in veterinary settings or related fields</li></ul>Join us in making a difference in the lives of animals and their owners!Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Health insurance</li></ul>Work Location: In person
