 Job Summary
 
 
 
 The Occupational Health Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for performing Surveillance exams, evaluating and treating occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses, managing acute medical conditions within Nurse Practitioner scope of practice, and managing electronic medical records.

 Education &amp; Experience
 
 
 
 
 
 Minimum Educational Requirements:
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Master&rsquo;s degree in Nursing and passed the NCLEX-PN examination
 </li>
 <li>
 Active Nurse Practitioner licensure
 </li>
 <li>
 License in good standing
 </li>
 <li>
 Certification with a nationally accredited affiliation
 </li>
 <li>
 Current DOT Medical Examiner Certification strongly preferred
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Experience:
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 10-15 years of professional Nurse Practitioner experience
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience working in an Occupational Health Clinic preferred
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience with performing OSHA surveillance exams preferred
 </li>
 <li>
 Working knowledge of OSHA regulations
 </li>
 <li>
 Evaluating patients for return to work and work readiness
 </li>
 <li>
 Proven experience treating acute illnesses/injuries and chronic disease management
 </li>
 <li>
 Developing safety plans for the work environment
