Role Overview
 
We are looking for a senior communications leader to support one of Saudi Arabia&rsquo;s most significant destination and cultural projects. The role will lead strategic PR, communications, stakeholder engagement, media relations, and integrated campaign planning across tourism, culture, lifestyle, entertainment, and destination development.
Key Responsibilities
<ul><li>Lead the day-to-day strategic communications and related tourism, culture, and destination-focused mandates.
</li><li>Develop and execute PR strategies that position the project as a landmark cultural, lifestyle, tourism, and urban destination in Riyadh.
</li><li>Manage senior client relationships, providing strategic counsel across media, reputation, stakeholder communications, and campaign planning.
</li><li>Build compelling narratives around culture, arts, sustainability, community engagement, entertainment, and destination appeal.
</li><li>Oversee media relations across Saudi, GCC, regional, and international outlets, ensuring strong visibility and positive coverage.
</li><li>Lead announcement strategies, press materials, executive messaging, speeches, briefing documents, thought leadership, and content calendars.
</li><li>Work closely with creative, digital, social, strategy, and planning teams to deliver integrated communications campaigns.

</li></ul>Candidate Profile
<ul><li>10&ndash;12+ years of experience in PR, strategic communications, public affairs, destination marketing, tourism, culture, lifestyle, or government-related communications.
</li><li>Strong understanding of Saudi Arabia&rsquo;s tourism, culture, entertainment, and giga-project landscape.
</li><li>Experience managing high-profile government, semi-government, destination, real estate, cultural, or tourism clients.
</li><li>Proven ability to advise senior stakeholders and manage complex multi-stakeholder environments.
</li><li>Excellent media relations experience across Saudi and regional media.
</li><li>Strong writing skills in English; Arabic is highly preferred.
</li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced agency environment and manage multiple workstreams at once.
</li><li>Strong leadership, client management, presentation, and team development skills.
</li></ul>Preferred Experience
<ul><li>Prior experience working on Vision 2030 projects, giga-projects, destination development, cultural institutions, tourism authorities, or major public-facing national initiatives.

About the Role
Assistant Account Executives (AAEs) are early-career professionals gaining hands-on experience across communications and advisory disciplines. They support account teams in day-to-day client work spanning brand marketing, corporate reputation, crisis and issues, B2B marketing, workplace advisory, health, technology, impact, and public affairs. 
AAEs are client-centric, detail-oriented communicators who contribute to research, content development, stakeholder engagement, media relations, and project coordination. In this role, you will primarily support work across health/pharma communications.

We are seeking a design intern for a 10-week summer internship program running from Monday, June 8 through Friday, August 14. To be considered, candidates must be a current senior, post graduate student, or recent graduate.

At Edelman, our creative teams conceptualize Earned-first ideas, which will be a foundational part of the ideation process. 
Our Designer will render creative depictions of programming ideas, produce gorgeous images to tell stories, and transform sometimes text-heavy slides into graphic representations of all that we can do as a firm. They&rsquo;ll not only be able to imagine creative solutions, but describe their intent. They&rsquo;ll also counsel teams on what can and can&rsquo;t be done in a given time period, collaborate with other designers and art directors, and command a toolbox of skills to quickly and efficiently transform undesigned content into beautiful documents.
It will be important to stay current on design trends, identify and implement the coolest, newest creative ideas. It is also important that this designer is inclusive in the creative, allowing collaboration and meaningful exchange between design and account teams&mdash;all the while helping to execute a shared vision that is top-notch.
