The <b>Creative Manager</b> will lead a team of designers, copywriters, and editors while contributing directly to the copywriting process. You will manage, mentor, and develop team members while also actively producing high-quality content for a range of projects such as digital campaigns, email campaigns, program page copy, brand messaging and more.</p><p><b>
Role Responsibilities:</b></p><p><b>
Team Leadership</b></p><ul><li>
Lead, manage, and mentor a small creative team, fostering a collaborative and inspiring environment.</li><li>
Provide constructive feedback and career development support for team members.</li><li>
Conduct regular team meetings and performance reviews, ensuring project goals are met.</li><li>
Oversee copy and make sure it is in alignment with the project/campaign ask: audience, tone, brand, voice, objective, funnel area, channel placement, etc.
</li></ul><p><b>Creative Strategy &amp; Execution</b></p><ul><li>
Work closely with Senior Creative Director and Brand Manager to develop and execute creative strategies that align with partner goals.</li><li>
Oversee the creative production ensuring high-quality output.</li><li>
Develop copy that aligns with audiences and where they are in the marketing funnel.</li></ul><p><b>
Copywriting &amp; Content Creation</b></p><ul><li>
Take a hands-on approach to writing and editing copy for various marketing materials, including websites, social media, emails, OTT/CTV, marketing materials, and more.</li><li>
Craft compelling narratives that resonate with target audiences, ensuring tone and messaging are consistent across all channels.</li><li>
Edit and refine content produced by team members to ensure it meets brand guidelines and quality standards.</li><li>
Leverage performance insights to refine messaging approaches and optimize copy effectiveness.
</li></ul><h1 class="jobSectionHeader">Collaboration &amp; Communication</h1><ul><li>
Serve as the key point of contact between the creative team and other departments to ensure alignment on creative goals and project timelines.</li><li>
Work with the creative operations manager to allocate resources when necessary.</li><li>
Collaborate with Senior Creative Director on creative tools needed, new tool proposals including stock sites, ai software, design software, etc.</li></ul><p>
</p><h1 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Educational Requirements and Background</b></h1><ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in English, marketing, communications, journalism or related field</li></ul><p><b>
Required Skills</b></p><ul><li>
Proven experience in copy and content creation &ndash; writing, editing and proofing</li><li>
Content optimization for different delivery modalities</li><li>
5+ years management experience leading creative teams and projects</li><li>
Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite, ChatGPT, and familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite</li><li>
Experience leading and participating in client presentations
</li><li>An understanding of the Higher Education and Post-Secondary Education sector is a plus</li></ul></div>
