Part-Time Household Manager / Nanny / Family AssistantRedwood City Guaranteed 10 hrs/week year-round | Starting at $30/hrWe&rsquo;re a family of five in Redwood City looking for a warm, organized person to support our morning school routine and help keep our home running smoothly mid-week. This is a permanent part-time role &mdash; we&rsquo;re hoping to find someone who wants to be a consistent, trusted part of our family long-term. Our kids are 6, 3, and 1.Guaranteed 10 hours/week, year-round with flexibility and off days. We&rsquo;re a two-parent working household that is looking for someone to help for the next few years.Schedule varies slightly by season:During the school year (follows Newark Unified School District calendar):School mornings (Mon, Tue, Fri) &mdash; ~6 hrs<ul><li>7:00&ndash;9:00am (flexible 7:15&ndash;7:30 start; some days may end by 8:45).</li><li>Morning routine support (breakfast, getting kids ready, out the door).</li><li>Drop-off for three kids: first school ~5 min away, second school ~20 min with traffic.</li><li>On days you don&rsquo;t drive, morning hours shift to household tasks &mdash; tidying, folding laundry, or grocery shopping.</li><li>Light kitchen tidy after drop-offs if time allows.</li></ul>Household support (Wed and/or Thu) &mdash; ~4 hrs<ul><li>Flexible timing, ideally morning (roughly 8am&ndash;1pm window).</li><li>Laundry (wash, dry, fold, and put away).</li><li>Light tidying and home reset &mdash; wiping surfaces, vacuuming high-traffic areas, keeping common spaces organized.</li><li>Grocery shopping and household supply restocking.</li><li>Occasional errands.</li><li>No drop-off required these days.</li></ul>Additional hours available (not guaranteed):<ul><li>Open to extra hours some weeks for date night babysitting, special errands, or one-off household projects &mdash; great for someone who wants flexibility to earn more without a rigid commitment.</li></ul>Compensation ($30-40 / hr):<ul><li>Starting at $30/hr for those newer to household or childcare work, with an additional $1&ndash;2/hr for each year of relevant experience. A candidate with 4 years of experience can expect around $34&ndash;$38/hr; 5+ years $36&ndash;$40/hr.</li><li>10 hrs/week guaranteed year-round.</li><li>22 paid days off annually &mdash; Thanksgiving week, winter/Christmas break, and all NUSD holidays &mdash; more than most part-time positions offer.</li><li>5 paid sick days/year.</li></ul>During summer and school breaks:<ul><li>10 hrs/week of household support and family assistance</li><li>Schedule arranged collaboratively in advance &mdash; no fixed morning commitment</li></ul>What we&rsquo;re looking for:<ul><li>Experience with school-age children; warm and comfortable with morning chaos.</li><li>Organized and proactive with household tasks &mdash; you notice what needs doing without being asked.</li><li>Reliable and punctual &mdash; our school mornings run on a tight schedule.</li><li>Valid driver&rsquo;s license.</li><li>Trustworthy, discreet, and a genuinely good fit with our family&rsquo;s culture.</li><li>References and background check required.</li></ul>To apply: Send a brief intro and relevant experience to the.egers.rwc@gmail.com.Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Flexible schedule</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Work Location: In person
