Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated and motivated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our busy adult Gastroenterology practice in Burton, Michigan.As an advanced practice provider, you will deliver evidence-based healthcare to adult patients in both office and hospital settings under physician supervision. You will play a dual role as both a healthcare provider and patient educator, helping promote disease prevention and healthy lifestyle practices.If you are passionate about advancing your clinical expertise and providing high-quality patient care, we would love to meet you.Responsibilities<ul><li>Perform comprehensive physical examinations and review medical histories</li><li>Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests (labs, imaging, etc.)</li><li>Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions</li><li>Develop and implement treatment plans</li><li>Prescribe medications as appropriate</li><li>Maintain accurate patient records and documentation</li><li>Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and prevention strategies</li><li>Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans accordingly</li><li>Promote preventive care and wellness practices</li><li>Collaborate closely with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams</li><li>Participate in ongoing professional development and clinical education</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Experience in one or more of the following specialties:</li><li>Acute Care</li><li>Internal Medicine</li><li>Gastroenterology</li><li>Hepatology</li><li>Surgery</li><li>Valid and active Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in the State of Michigan</li><li>Proven clinical experience in a hospital, clinic, ER, or similar healthcare setting</li><li>Strong knowledge of primary, acute, and chronic care practices</li><li>Understanding of healthcare regulations and patient care standards</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills</li><li>Strong ethics and professionalism</li><li>Team-oriented with a positive attitude</li><li>Patience, problem-solving skills, and strong clinical judgment</li><li>Commitment to ongoing learning and professional growth</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per yearWork Location: In person
