Overview We are seeking a creative and passionate Floral Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in floral design, horticulture, and customer service, with the ability to create stunning arrangements that meet our clients' needs. This role requires excellent communication skills and a flair for merchandising to enhance the shopping experience in our retail environment.Duties<ul><li>Design and create floral arrangements for various occasions, including weddings, events, and everyday celebrations.</li><li>Provide exceptional customer service by assisting clients with their floral selections and offering expert advice on care and maintenance.</li><li>Maintain the floral department by ensuring all products are fresh, well-stocked, and presented attractively.</li><li>Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems while adhering to cash handling procedures.</li><li>Collaborate with team members to manage inventory, including stocking supplies and performing regular maintenance on plants and flowers.</li><li>Utilize retail math skills to assist in pricing, sales reporting, and inventory management.</li><li>Engage in merchandising efforts to display floral products effectively and attractively within the store.</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Proven experience in floral design or a related field is preferred.</li><li>Knowledge of horticulture, gardening, lawn care, and landscape maintenance is a plus.</li><li>Familiarity with e-commerce platforms for online sales is advantageous.</li><li>Multilingual abilities are welcomed to better serve our diverse clientele.</li><li>Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in both design work and inventory management.</li><li>Prior experience in retail sales or cashiering roles is beneficial.</li><li>Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
