Transport In charge &ndash; Job Description1. Vehicle &amp; Fleet Management<ul><li>Oversee day-to-day transportation operations and ensure optimal vehicle utilization.</li></ul><ul><li>Manage company vehicles, maintain vehicle records, logbooks, fuel usage, and trip sheets.</li></ul><ul><li>Plan and schedule vehicle movements for deliveries, pickups, and staff transportation.</li></ul>2. Maintenance &amp; Compliance<ul><li>Ensure all vehicles undergo regular servicing, maintenance, and timely repairs.</li></ul><ul><li>Monitor fitness certificates, insurance renewals, permits, emission tests, and ensure compliance with all statutory requirements.</li></ul><ul><li>Coordinate with workshops, service providers, and vendors.</li></ul>3. Driver Supervision<ul><li>Manage, assign duties, and supervise drivers.</li></ul><ul><li>Maintain driver attendance, discipline, route planning, and adherence to safety rules.</li></ul><ul><li>Conduct periodic training for drivers on safety, guidelines, and company procedures.</li></ul>4. Safety &amp; Fuel Management<ul><li>Implement safety protocols for vehicle operations and ensure strict adherence.</li></ul><ul><li>Monitor fuel consumption, prevent misuse, and maintain fuel reports.</li></ul><ul><li>Track GPS, route optimization, and emergency support where needed.</li></ul>5. Documentation &amp; Reporting<ul><li>Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, maintenance, and expenses.</li></ul><ul><li>Generate daily/weekly transport reports for management.</li></ul><ul><li>Ensure proper documentation for logistics movements, delivery challans, and material tracking.</li></ul>6. Coordination &amp; Communication<ul><li>Coordinate with internal departments for vehicle requirements.</li></ul><ul><li>Liaise with external agencies, transporters, and suppliers for logistics needs.</li></ul><ul><li>Respond promptly to transport-related issues, delays, or breakdowns.</li></ul>7. Skill Requirements<ul><li>Strong knowledge of fleet management, transport regulations, and route planning.</li></ul><ul><li>Proficiency in MS Excel, GPS tracking systems, and basic documentation.</li></ul><ul><li>Good communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: &#8377;30,000.00 - &#8377;40,000.00 per monthWork Location: In person
