POSITION SUMMARYWe are a mid-sized manufacturing company seeking a hands-on Accounting Manager to oversee daily accounting operations and financial reporting. This position plays a key role in managing the general ledger, supervising accounting staff, and supporting payroll, compliance, and financial processes.This is a broad role ideal for someone who enjoys variety and ownership in a smaller organization.PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBLITIES<ul><li>Maintain and oversee general ledger accounting</li><li>Manage month-end close and financial reporting</li><li>Prepare monthly financial statements</li><li>Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts</li><li>Process expense reports, credit card reconciliations, and account adjustments</li><li>Process bi-weekly payroll</li><li>Supervise Accounting Assistant</li><li>Process sales and use tax filings</li><li>Manage accounts payable approvals and vendor files</li><li>Monitor cash balances and customer credit limits</li><li>Assist with annual audit and property tax filings</li><li>Support HR-related administration (benefits questions, employee records, workers&rsquo; compensation)</li><li>Support special projects and other duties as needed</li></ul>Education Required<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Accounting or related field</li><li>CPA a plus</li><li>10+ years accounting experience</li><li>Experience with general ledger, reconciliations, and financial reporting</li><li>Manufacturing experience preferred</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timeBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Disability insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Tuition reimbursement</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Physical Setting:<ul><li>Office</li></ul>Schedule:<ul><li>Day shift</li><li>Monday to Friday</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>QuickBooks: 1 year (Preferred)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
