Job Title: Showroom Sales Representative &ndash; Electrical, Control &amp; Instrumentation Location: Doha, Qatar Experience Required: 2 &ndash; 5 years (Qatar/GCC experience preferred) Industry: Trading &ndash; Electrical / Automation / Instrumentation Employment Type: Full-timeAbout the Role:We are a leading trading company in Qatar specializing in Electrical products, Industrial Control systems, and Process Instrumentation. We are looking for a technically savvy Showroom Sales Representative to manage our showroom floor. You will bridge the gap between walk-in clients (contractors, MEP engineers, plant technicians) and our high-value inventory of switches, sensors, PLCs, cables, and measuring tools.Key Responsibilities:Sales &amp; Customer Service:<ul><li>Greet and assist walk-in customers (electricians, maintenance supervisors, procurement officers) with technical queries.</li><li>Understand client project requirements and recommend appropriate electrical components (MCBs, MCCBs, Contactors) and instrumentation gear (Pressure Transmitters, Temperature Controllers, Flow Meters).</li><li>Achieve monthly sales targets and gross profit margins for the showroom counter.</li><li>Prepare accurate quotations and follow up on pending sales leads.</li></ul>Showroom Operations:<ul><li>Ensure the showroom is merchandised according to brand standards (Siemens, ABB, Honeywell, Yokogawa, or similar local brands).</li><li>Manage stock levels for fast-moving items and coordinate with the warehouse for restocking.</li><li>Handle cash/credit transactions and process invoices via the ERP system.</li></ul>Technical Support:<ul><li>Provide basic technical troubleshooting for control &amp; instrumentation products (e.g., wiring of relays, setting up timers, basic PLC I/O questions).</li><li>Cross-sell complementary products (e.g., suggesting proper glands and cables for an instrument).</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Skills:<ul><li>Experience: 2 to 5 years of retail or counter sales experience in Electrical, Control, or Instrumentation trading in Qatar or GCC.</li><li>Technical Knowledge: Must be able to identify products by part numbers (e.g., Siemens LOGO!, ABB ACS drives, Rosemount transmitters, Schneider Electric).</li><li>Software: Basic knowledge of ERP systems (SAP/Odoo/Tally) and MS Excel.</li><li>Soft Skills: Excellent communication in English (Arabic is a huge plus), negotiation skills, and a customer-first attitude.</li></ul>Job Type: PermanentPay: QAR1,800.00 - QAR2,500.00 per monthWork Location: In person
