Surgical Technician / Oral Surgery Assistant &ndash; Weekday Schedule | Competitive Pay
Position Purpose
Join a growing oral and maxillofacial surgery practice as a Surgical Technician/Oral Surgery Assistant. This role supports the surgeon during consultations and procedures while delivering high-quality pre- and post-operative patient care. Ideal for a detail-oriented professional who values teamwork, patient safety, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Assist the surgeon during procedures; seat patients and take vitals</li><li>Monitor anesthesia and ensure completion of consents and treatment plans</li><li>Provide clear pre-operative and post-operative instructions</li><li>Obtain and track medical clearances</li><li>Maintain OSHA, HIPAA, and radiation safety standards</li><li>Take diagnostic radiographs using proper exposure and positioning</li><li>Accurately document patient care in the EMR</li><li>Prepare, clean, and maintain surgical instruments and equipment</li><li>Deliver a calm, professional, and positive patient experience</li><li>Collaborate effectively with providers and team members</li><li>Support additional projects as needed</li></ul>

Qualifications<ul><li>CPR Certification (required)</li><li>Oral &amp; Maxillofacial Assisting or Dental Assistant Certification (preferred)</li><li>Hepatitis B Vaccination &amp; Titer</li><li>TB Vaccination &amp; Titer</li><li>Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills</li><li>Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced surgical environment</li></ul>
