. Install, troubleshoot and repair heating, air conditioning and refrigeration units, including chillers, boilers and heat pumps. Troubleshoot malfunctioning heating, air conditioning and refrigeration systems to determine the cause of the malfunction. Perform scheduled maintenance inspections, and adjusts, cleans and calibrates various systems to assure proper system operations. Repair wiring and electronic components associated with automated building management systems. Replace expansion valves, compressors, motors, coil units and other component parts. Clean refrigerant systems from hermetic burnouts, evacuates, and charges systems. Troubleshoot and repairs direct digital and pneumatic control systems. Check distribution systems for proper velocity, volume, temperature, pressure, etc.. Provide technical assistance with the design of HVAC systems including installations and modifications to existing systems. Inspect HVAC systems and components (e.g. heating units) and evaluate condition, identifying necessary repairs (if any). Determines cause of and corrects condensation problems. Implement health &amp; safety guidelines. Ensure adherence to international best practices, local standards and regulations. Prepare and submit required daily maintenance reports. Performs other duties/ responsibilities that may be assigned by the Facilities Manager and/ or the Mall ManagerEducation. Technical diploma in HVAC. HVAC Technical Certification is preferredExperience. 5+ years of experience in HVAC worksCompetencies. Knowledge in HVAC equipment and components&middot; Knowledge of relevant building codes, legislation, regulations,policies and procedures. Knowledge of the methods, materials, fixtures, tools, andequipment used in HVAC works. Ability to read drawings/ diagrams/ blueprints. Team building skills.
