We are seeking a service-oriented Server to join our team at Ellington Ridge Country Club. This position requires a professional who excels in both dining and banquet/event service. The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality, understands the elevated expectations of private club members and guests, and thrives in a refined yet fast-paced environment. As a Server, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional dining and event experiences while upholding the club&rsquo;s high standards of service and presentation.Responsibilities<ul><li>Greet and serve members and guests in a warm, courteous, and professional manner.</li><li>Provide attentive service in the dining room, patio, and other club outlets as assigned.</li><li>Execute banquet and event service for weddings, tournaments, holiday events, and member functions, including plated meals, buffets, and cocktail receptions.</li><li>Assist with event setup and breakdown, including table settings, linens, chairs, service stations, and d&eacute;cor according to event specifications.</li><li>Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems and ensure timely, proper delivery.</li><li>Demonstrate strong menu knowledge, including daily features, wine pairings, and special dietary accommodations.</li><li>Anticipate member needs and personalize service to enhance the overall club experience.</li><li>Upsell food and beverage offerings to enhance satisfaction and support club revenue goals.</li><li>Maintain clear communication with culinary and banquet teams to ensure seamless service.</li><li>Monitor guest satisfaction and address concerns promptly and professionally.</li><li>Follow all food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service guidelines.</li><li>Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, banquet spaces, and service stations.</li><li>Support team members to ensure smooth operations during high-volume periods and special events.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Previous experience in restaurant, country club, hotel, or banquet service preferred</li><li>Professional appearance and demeanor with strong interpersonal skills.</li><li>Excellent time management and ability to multitask in both dining and event settings.</li><li>Strong commitment to member satisfaction and personalized service.</li><li>Basic math and POS system proficiency.</li><li>Knowledge of food handling, sanitation standards, and responsible alcohol service.</li><li>Ability to lift and carry trays, stand for extended periods, and assist with event setup/breakdown.</li><li>Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and special club events.</li></ul>Join our team and become part of a tradition of excellence, where your dedication to hospitality contributes to memorable dining and event experiences for our valued members and their guests.Job Type: Part-timePay: From $16.94 per hourPeople with a criminal record are encouraged to applyWork Location: In person
