To that end, we are seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to join our growing team.Job SummaryThe Warehouse Manager is a subject matter expert for all aspects of the shipping and receiving function. This role oversees the shipping and receiving functions of 2 locations.Desirable Background<ul><li>Manufacturing environment</li><li>LTL and parcel shipping experience including portal/technology proficiency</li><li>MS-Office Suite proficiency</li><li>Some supervision experience</li></ul>&#61623; Manages the shipping and receiving activities of multiple facilities.&#61623; Assures procedures are consistently followed.&#61623; Coordinates with other functional areas to meet quality and service metrics.&#61623; Leverages technology to maximize efficiency.&#61623; Communicates with logistics and transportation partners.&#61623; Instills a culture of quality control.&#61623; Impeccably maintains pertinent records.&#61623; Organizes the physical footprint of the department to create a visual workplace.&#61623; Performs any/all hands-on functions of the department.Qualifications&#61623; High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experienceand/or training&#61623; OSHA forklift safety certificate&#61623; At least one year of supervisory experience&#61623; Previous experience managing multiple locations preferred&#61623; Demonstrated proficiency with parcel, LTL, and courier shipping/management software&#61623; Understanding of terminology and practices of the industry&#61623; Effective verbal and written communication skills&#61623; Proficiency with MS-Office suite&#61623; Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, commonfractions, and decimals.&#61623; Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oralinstructions.
