Warehouse Manager

Job Summary

The Warehouse Manager is a subject matter expert for all aspects of the shipping and receiving function. This role oversees the shipping and receiving functions of 2 locations.

 Manages the shipping and receiving activities of multiple facilities.

 Assures procedures are consistently followed.

 Coordinates with other functional areas to meet quality and service metrics.

 Leverages technology to maximize efficiency.

 Communicates with logistics and transportation partners.

 Instills a culture of quality control.

 Impeccably maintains pertinent records.

 Organizes the physical footprint of the department to create a visual workplace.

 Performs any/all hands-on functions of the department.

Qualifications

 High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience

and/or training

 OSHA forklift safety certificate

 At least one year of supervisory experience

 Previous experience managing multiple locations preferred

 Demonstrated proficiency with parcel, LTL, and courier shipping/management software

 Understanding of terminology and practices of the industry

 Effective verbal and written communication skills

 Proficiency with MS-Office suite

 Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common

fractions, and decimals.

 Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral

instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standard situations.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Pay: $55,000.00 but up to $62,000.00

Pay: $54,265.19 - $62,351.63 per year
