Job Overview Ellis County Counseling PLLC is seeking a compassionate and dedicated mental health therapist to join our growing practice. The ideal candidate is a fully licensed clinician who is collaborative, client-centered, and interested in working with a diverse client population including children, couples, and families. We are seeking a therapist who is comfortable providing both telehealth and some in-person services and who has availability during evening or weekend hours. Specialized training in play therapy or EMDR is a plus, but not required.About Us Ellis County Counseling PLLC is a small private practice providing individual and couples counseling for adults, teens, and families navigating anxiety, relationship challenges, life transitions, and emotional stress. We offer a supportive, collaborative approach that focuses on practical tools for improving communication, emotional regulation, and overall well-being. Services are provided both in person and via telehealth across Texas and Florida, with a focus on accessible, ethical, and client-centered care. https://elliscountycounseling.comCompensation<ul><li>$55&ndash;$60 per clinical hour when providing therapy sessions</li><li>1099 position with opportunity to grow caseload</li><li>Practice provides referrals, administrative support, and billing</li></ul>Responsibilities<ul><li>Conduct clinical assessments and diagnostic evaluations to develop appropriate treatment plans</li><li>Provide psychotherapy to individuals, couples, children, and/or families using evidence-based practices</li><li>Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA and professional standards</li><li>Maintain a part-time caseload within the practice</li><li>Be available for at least two evening or weekend (after-hours) sessions per week</li><li>Provide a mix of telehealth and some in-person sessions</li><li>Maintain ethical and professional standards of care</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Master&rsquo;s degree or higher in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related mental health field from an accredited institution</li><li>Fully licensed clinician (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent)</li><li>Willingness to become credentialed with insurance panels</li><li>Experience providing counseling in outpatient or similar settings preferred</li><li>Experience working with children, couples, or families preferred</li><li>EMDR training or interest in trauma-informed therapy is a plus but not required</li><li>Knowledge of crisis intervention and behavioral management strategies is beneficial</li></ul>We are committed to fostering a supportive and collaborative environment that promotes professional growth while ensuring clinicians have the resources needed to succeed in this rewarding role.Pay: $60.00 - $65.00 per hourWork Location: Hybrid remote in Midlothian, TX 76065
