About the RoleElysee Management Co. is seeking a detail-oriented and professional Accounts Receivable Specialist to support our growing retail property portfolio. The ideal candidate brings a combination of bookkeeping and property management experience, and is comfortable liaising with tenants, on-site managers, and company executives in a fast-paced environment.This is an in-office position at our Washington Heights office (1387 Saint Nicholas Avenue, 2nd Floor, NY 10033). Candidates must be able to reliably commute to this location.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Process rent bills and manage monthly billing cycles</li><li>Maintain tenant records, leases, rent rolls, and contact information using Appfolio property management software</li><li>Track critical lease-related dates including renewals, expirations, and option deadlines</li><li>Assist with legal matters and coordinate with counsel as directed</li><li>Prepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends</li><li>Maintain and update property data across the portfolio</li><li>Preserve historical records through organized document filing</li><li>Support general office and administrative operations as needed</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Prior bookkeeping experience required; property management background strongly preferred</li><li>Proficiency with Appfolio or comparable property management software preferred</li><li>Strong data entry skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail</li><li>Solid accounting fundamentals and financial reporting ability</li><li>Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion</li><li>Clear, professional communication skills for tenant and executive-facing interaction</li><li>Organized and capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously</li><li>Must be able to reliably commute to our Washington Heights office</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>Employee discount</li><li>Paid sick time</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Physical Setting:<ul><li>Office</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Accounting: 1 year (Preferred)</li><li>Microsoft Excel: 1 year (Preferred)</li><li>Property management: 1 year (Preferred)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
