&lt;Job Overview&gt; The full-time Patient Services Representative serves as a welcoming and professional first point of contact. As part of the team, you will help create a supportive and approachable environment for each patient.&lt;Responsibilities&gt;<ul><li>Greet patients warmly and manage patient check-in and check-out processes with professionalism and efficiency.</li><li>Verify insurance coverage, perform insurance eligibility checks, and facilitate insurance verification to ensure accurate billing.</li><li>Schedule patient appointments using an electronic health record (EHR) system.</li><li>Collect and verify patient information, update medical records, and ensure all documentation complies with HIPAA regulations.</li><li>Assist in managing inventory and ordering supplies</li><li>Answer phone calls professionally, addressing questions on various topics.</li><li>Communicate clearly and effectively to address patient concerns or questions.</li><li>Coordinating in-coming referrals and generating referrals to other doctors</li></ul>&lt;Requirements&gt;<ul><li>Experience in a medical office setting or healthcare environment with familiarity in medical administrative support or front desk duties is helpful.</li><li>Knowledge of EMR/EHR systems such as AdvancedMD is a plus.</li><li>Understanding of medical terminology,, Medicare processes, and health information management standards.</li><li>Excellent computer skills; ability to navigate multiple software platforms efficiently.</li><li>Exceptional customer service skills paired with professional phone etiquette and effective communication abilities.</li><li>Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.</li><li>Strong organizational skills, data entry (10 key typing), and accurate appointment scheduling.
