We&rsquo;re a small, collaborative team focused on delivering a great customer experience.________________________________________The RoleWe are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Bookkeeper / Office &amp; Purchasing Coordinator to join our team.This role oversees both, the financial processes and purchasing workflow, ensuring accuracy from order placement through final payment, while supporting the design and sales team.________________________________________What You&rsquo;ll DoBookkeeping &amp; Office<ul><li>Manage accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations</li><li>Enter and track vendor bills and payments in QuickBooks</li><li>Prepare basic financial reports, sales tax filings, and 1099s</li><li>Keep records accurate and organized</li><li>Spot and resolve discrepancies before they impact the business</li></ul>________________________________________Purchasing &amp; Order Management<ul><li>Create and send purchase orders (POs) based on sales orders, design projects, and inventory needs</li><li>Confirm pricing, discounts, lead times and order details with vendors</li><li>Track orders, deliveries, and backorders</li><li>Maintain organized documentation for each order (POs, vendor confirmations, pricing agreements)</li><li>Communicate proactively with vendors regarding order status, delays, and changes</li></ul>Claims &amp; Vendor Coordination<ul><li>Verify incoming items for accuracy, conditions and specifications</li><li>Submit and follow up on claims (damages, shortages, pricing issues)</li><li>Ensure credits or replacements are received and recorded</li><li>Maintain a structured claims log and follow up consistently with vendors</li><li>Coordinate with the owner on escalations or high-value issues</li></ul>________________________________________Customer &amp; Team Support<ul><li>Assist with inventory tracking</li><li>Provide excellent customer service when needed, assisting with order-related inquiries</li><li>Maintain clear and consistent communication with the owner on financials, orders, and issues</li><li>Support the design and sales team by ensuring orders are accurate and on schedule</li></ul>________________________________________What You Bring<ul><li>2+ years of bookkeeping, purchasing, or office coordination experience (retail or interior design environment preferred)</li><li>Strong understanding of accounting principles and experience with QuickBooks and Excel</li><li>Experience with purchase orders, vendor management, or order tracking strongly preferred</li><li>Excellent organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment</li><li>Strong attention to detail&mdash;especially with numbers, pricing, and order accuracy</li><li>Clear, professional communication skills (written and verbal)</li><li>Proactive problem-solver who takes ownership of tasks from start to finish</li><li>Ability to follow up persistently and manage multiple moving parts</li><li>Self-motivated and reliable, with a high level of accountability</li><li>Willingness to learn new systems and support ongoing process improvements</li></ul>Bonus: Experience with POS systems, inventory management, or working with furniture/design vendors________________________________________Why Work with Us<ul><li>Be part of a close-knit, supportive team where your role truly matters</li><li>Work in a creative, design-focused environment</li><li>Have direct impact on the efficiency and success of the business</li><li>Enjoy a collaborative atmosphere in a growing local company</li></ul>________________________________________Ready to Apply?Send your resume along with a short note telling us why you&rsquo;d be a great fit for this role.Job Type: Part-timePay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Employee discount</li><li>Flexible schedule</li><li>Paid training</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>bookkeeping: 2 years (Required)</li></ul>Ability to Commute:<ul><li>Lakeway, TX 78738 (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
