Job Summary:

The Graphic Designer I will take existing control drawings and convert them into graphical images using a pre-configured symbol library with drag-and-drop functionality. This position requires a technical aptitude and ability to learn new software, including the latest building control manufacturers&rsquo; software (Tridium Niagara, Distech Controls, Delta Controls, JCI FX, Schneider Andover Continuum, etc.). Graphic Designer I will work productively with supervision and be able to work in a team atmosphere.</div>
Essential Duties &amp; Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Develop graphical screens for the building control industry using Manufacturer Provided Software, Photoshop, SweetHome3D, and other software.</li><li>Keep accurate and organized project notes.</li><li>Good customer support for graphical issues.</li><li>Support internal teams with deployment, startup/checkout, training, etc.</li><li>Help with department documentation pages where needed.</li></ul>
Qualifications:
<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in mechanical engineering, graphic design or equivalent experience in HVAC design preferred.</li><li>2+ years&rsquo; experience in graphical design.</li><li>Knowledge of modern procedures and methods, including telephone communications, office systems, and record keeping.</li><li>Skill in various software packages, including Microsoft Word, Visio, Excel, AutoCAD, Photoshop, and others.</li><li>Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without supervision.</li><li>Ability to handle and resolve recurring problems and computer-related issues.</li></ul><div></div><p><br>

Essential Duties &amp; Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Responsible for designing and the layout of Fire Sprinkler systems</li><li>
Read, analyze and interpret contract documents, including all disciplines of construction drawings and specifications</li><li>
Write, plan, coordinate, and make presentations to individuals and groups</li><li>
Work with and comprehend mathematical concepts including hydraulic calculations and project cost analysis</li><li>
Develop positive and ongoing relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction</li><li>
Provide fire sprinkler designs with AutoCAD, HydraCAD, and AutoSPRINK</li><li>
Responsible for BIM modeling and field surveying</li><li>
Provide lists for fabrication and coordinate between the trades</li><li>

Qualifications:
<ul><li>Associate or Technical Degree in a technical or business discipline preferred or equivalent experience. Examples include: Architectural, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management Degrees</li><li>
5+ years of Fire Protection design experience required</li><li>
NICET certification preferred</li><li>
AutoCad experience and/or Hydratec Experience required</li><li>
Valid driver&rsquo;s license and excellent driving record</li><li>
Excellent communicator, self-motivated individual with great organizational skills</li><li>

Proven skills in Microsoft operating systems and Microsoft standard software (Office / Teams / Etc) is required.</li><li>
