Essential Duties &amp; Responsibilities:

MEP Planning and Estimating</b></p><ul><li>
Prepares the scope of work for various types of construction or repair projects.</li><li>
Prepares detailed cost estimates using RS Means or an equivalent cost estimating software. Must be able to articulate and justify cost and technical methodologies.</li><li>
Develop selection/options for most economical systems/approach to be utilized in preparation of bid packages.</li><li>
Solicits competitive bids, hosts site walks, and prepares estimates that are formally submitted to EMCOR senior leadership and the client representative for approval.</li><li>
Provides thoughtful, itemized, and detailed estimate/technical proposal for client evaluation.</li><li>
Formally presents estimates and other project deliverables to management and other project stakeholders.</li><li>
Prepares equipment and material submittals for client approval as specified.</li><li>
Plan, estimate, and schedule all types of work requests including complex electrical, mechanical, control systems, and structural work.</li><li>
Performs cost comparisons for repair vs. replacement and in-house vs. outsource.</li><li>
Prepare complete plans (e.g., existing and proposed) and method of execution for all project work requests</li><li>
Ability to read and understand as-builts, architectural, electrical, plumbing and mechanical drawings.</li><li>
Ability to read and understand manufacturer&rsquo;s submittals and literature.</li><li>
Performs quality assurance on subcontractor performance, ensures compliance and acceptable services were performed, prepares invoices upon completion of all projects to ensure timely accounts receivable receipts.</li><li>
Prepares a punch list and quality assurance inspection at the completion of all projects and ensures that all work is completed as per specifications and in a professional manner.</li><li>
Prepares and submits Request for Information (RFI) to the client as necessary.</li><li>

Project Management</b></p><br>

Collaborates with site/EGS HQ procurement and contracting departments for competitive bids, site walks, submittal packages, awards, etc.</li><li>
Directs subcontractors, monitors and reports project progress/status updates to senior management and DOT facilities&rsquo; staff.</li><li>
Receives submittals, maintains DOT technical reference library.</li><li>
Collaborates with site/HQ for asset intake and management. Responsible for project&rsquo;s new/replacement assets and information (i.e., warranty, S/N, job plans, specifications, etc.) is accurate in Maximo (Computerized Maintenance Management System).</li><li>
Creates presentations/spreadsheets to manage, track and brief progress to senior program management and DOT senior leadership.</li></ul>
Qualifications:
<ul><li>Must have a minimum of four (4) years of experience in MEP planning and estimating structural, electrical, and mechanical projects in a large facility or multiple facilities with highly complex mechanical, electrical, and structural requirements.</li><li>
Must have a minimum of four (4) years of project management experience or an acceptable combination of relevant experience, education, and training.</li><li>
Associates or higher degree in engineering, project management or equivalent field is highly desired or an acceptable combination of relevant experience, education, and training.</li><li>
Must be skilled in using RS Means cost estimating software or other &ldquo;equal&rdquo; cost estimating software that is widely recognized within the facilities maintenance and construction industries.</li><li>
Proficiency with AutoCAD or other &ldquo;equal&rdquo; software experience is highly desired.</li><li>
Must have excellent communication and listening skills and the ability to communicate with various levels within the organization.</li><li>
Must demonstrate an extremely high level of attention to detail and the ability to take initiative and adapt quickly to changing requirements.</li><li>
Must possess the ability to work under the pressure of multiple deadlines, managing and coordinating multiple projects at the same time.</li><li>

Essential Duties &amp; Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Responsible for the scheduling, billing, and dispatch of Sprinkler Fitters and Inspectors
</li><li>Receive customer requests for service in a professional manner, obtaining needed information to dispatch the calls efficiently.</li><li>
Utilize the automated schedule functionality and assign the service call to the optimal technician based on skills, territories, customer preferred technician (if applicable), availability of the technician, service contract response time criticality of the call and proximity to the customer.</li><li>
Reassign work as needed to manage customer&rsquo;s expectations, making judgements based on current workloads and priorities.
</li><li>Validate completion of work a follow up.</li><li>
Follow the company endorsed business process and best practices for dispatch and make recommendations on dispatch system/process improvements.
</li><li>Maintain document retention strategy for retaining hard and electronic copies of service acknowledgements, work orders, and inspection reports.</li><li>
Always maintain confidentiality of customer and employer information</li><li>

Qualifications:
<ul><li>Proficiency in computer usage and above basic Microsoft Office &amp; Windows skills</li><li>
Dispatching or scheduling experience with Technicians, Project Managers, etc. preferred</li><li>
Proven experience in multi-tasking and doing several tasks at once &ndash; incoming calls, scheduling, internal personnel, emails, tracking down information, etc.</li><li>
Must be organized, self-motivated and a strong work ethic</li><li>
Professional verbal and written communication</li><li>
Experience with AS400 a plus</li><li>
Regular and reliable attendance, including the ability to work extended hours and weekends as required</li></ul>

Essential Duties &amp; Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Communicate daily with designers, superintendents, fab supervisors, and the fab manager regarding IRTs, foreman's kits, and related questions.</li><li>
Receive IRTs via email/call-ins, address questions with relevant personnel, confirm completion, track delays, schedule LTL/UPS pickup, provide tracking updates, and coordinate truck loading for site delivery.</li><li>
Process incoming kits by printing drawings, stamping, printing stock lists/label files, and uploading ITF files.</li><li>
Log in dates, weights, and welds into job track; maintain an updated truck schedule; send weekly stock list request emails to designers; and communicate on stock list errors.</li><li>
Take to the fab floor for pulling and loading</li><li>
Maintain attendance records, employee files, weekly attendance sheets for supervisors, log/print employee badges, and distribute checks to supervisors/employees.</li><li>
Assist HR with obtaining benefit paperwork for current/new hires, setting up and following up on interviews, processing reviews/raises, processing new employees/paperwork/benefit video viewing, and assisting the HR department with needed employee information.</li><li>
Answer incoming calls, order office supplies, and maintain various division file information (timesheets, project archives).</li><li>
Scan all shop employee timesheets and wage slips to the payroll department.</li><li>
Assist the fab manager and supervisors as needed</li><li>
Other assigned duties.</li></ul>
Qualifications:
<ul><li>High School Diploma or equivalent</li><li>
3-5 years minimum of administrative office experience</li><li>
Strong verbal and written communication skills</li><li>
Dependable</li><li>
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel</li><li>
Lotus Notes experience preferred, but not required</li><li>
Must be able to multi-task and be very organized</li><li>
Must be a self-starter and able to work with diverse group of construction personnel</li><li>
Proficient with time management</li><li>
