 Reporting to the Vice President &ndash; Operations you will make a valuable contribution as a team player to the organization&rsquo;s success in developing opportunities and fulfilment of projects and development of systems.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Role Overview
 
 
 
 The Engineering Manager will split responsibilities between:
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 70%: Leading and executing detailed engineering for electrowinning skids and other hydrometallurgical process packages.
 </li>
 <li>
 30%: Driving customer-facing activities, including technical discussions, scope clarifications, specification compliance, and submission of engineering deliverables.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 This role is highly cross-functional, interfacing with internal engineering teams, vendors, consultants, and customers across global markets, with significant collaboration with our engineering office in India.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Key Duties &amp; Responsibilities
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Engineering &amp; Project Delivery (70%)
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Lead basic and detailed engineering activities post sales order closure liaising with our hydromet process specialist team: preparation of PFDs, P&amp;IDs, mass and energy balances, equipment lists, line lists, and utility flow diagrams.
 </li>
 <li>
 Develop and review process specification sheets, layouts, instrument lists/specifications, and ensure compliance with process requirements.
 </li>
 <li>
 Implement best-in-class project engineering procedures and ensure compliance across the engineering team.
 </li>
 <li>
 Manage and control all project documentation, ensuring traceability, accuracy, and timely submission.
 </li>
 <li>
 Drive preparation of operation manuals, commissioning procedures, and troubleshooting guides for EW skids.
 </li>
 <li>
 Continuously improve the skid-mounted / plug-and-play design approach to reduce site execution time and manpower requirements.
 </li>
 <li>
 Coordinate with vendors, consultants, and internal disciplines (mechanical, piping, I&amp;C) to ensure seamless delivery of engineered packages.
 </li>
 <li>
 Conduct safety reviews for new and existing EW systems to meet HSE and industry standards.
 </li>
 <li>
 Provide technical support to project teams during procurement, fabrication, FAT/SAT, and commissioning.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 Customer &amp; Project Management (30%)
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Interface with customers to clarify scope, technical specifications, and boundary conditions.
 </li>
 <li>
 Attend customer meetings, provide technical presentations, and support sales teams with application engineering and feasibility documents.
 </li>
 <li>
 Prepare and submit customer deliverables (engineering documents, bid clarifications, compliance matrices).
 </li>
 <li>
 Support supply chain team in technical discussions with suppliers and customers.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure specification compliance and alignment with customer requirements while safeguarding company&rsquo;s commercial and technical interests.
 </li>

 Skills &amp; Qualifications
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Bachelor&rsquo;s/master&rsquo;s degree in chemical engineering or metallurgical engineering.
 </li>
 <li>
 10+ years&rsquo; experience with OEM companies in Oil&amp;Gas, mining/metallurgy, or other allied process industries is essential.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong grounding in hydrometallurgy/electrowinning operations; direct plant experience is advantageous.
 </li>
 <li>
 Proven experience in detailed engineering and project management for skid-mounted process systems.
 </li>
 <li>
 Demonstrated ability to build and lead technical teams, inspire collaboration, and develop talent.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with ability to engage clients and build long-term relationships.
 </li>
 <li>
 Creative and pragmatic problem-solver with a track record of delivering innovative solutions.
 </li>
 <li>
 Travel flexibility: Ability to travel internationally, with ~40% of time spent at the engineering office in India and customer sites.
 </li>
