A. Job Purpose:Responsible for maintenance tasks to standards specified in company procedures and instructions. The position requires an experienced and skilled mechanical technician undertaking a range of detailed maintenance activities. They should demonstrate the ability to analyze and diagnose faults with aircraft systems, equipment, and assemblies, follow diagnostic procedures, and work effectively within a team. Undertaking detailed maintenance, inspection, and line activities on the aircraft and its components. Assuring work carried out has been completed in accordance with the work package using the relevant approved technical information. Resolving faults and maintenance issues.B. Duties and Responsibilities:<ul><li>Perform maintenance tasks to standards specified in company procedures and instructions.</li><li>Assist certifying staff in the performance of maintenance tasks.</li><li>Carry out and certify approved specialist activities as authorized.</li><li>Advise supervisory staff of areas of concern regarding defects, safety, and procedures.</li><li>Ensure that completed tasks are certified in the relevant documentation.</li><li>Supervise operatives in the performance of their duties.</li><li>Assist, as nominated, engineers with responsibility for secondary duties.</li><li>Carry out the requirements of the Duty Engineer.</li><li>Perform any other duties within logistics as may be requested by the direct supervisor.</li></ul>C. Education:Secondary SchoolD. Experience:Experience as Aircraft Technician &ndash; 2 yearsE. Certification / Knowledge / Competencies:<ul><li>Basic type rating course</li><li>Type rating course on aircraft type</li><li>Certification from associated institution is an added advantage</li><li>Able to work under pressure and in harsh weather conditions</li><li>Good knowledge of Microsoft Office</li><li>Oral and written communication</li><li>Fluent in English</li><li>Good hand skills</li></ul>Job Type: Full-time
