 custom metal product manufacturer
 
 , is seeking a
 
 Manufacturing Project Engineer
 
 to support process improvements, production operations, and continuous improvement initiatives. This is a hands-on role working closely with leadership to optimize methods, equipment, and efficiency across the plant.
 
 
 
 Responsibilities
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Lead and implement manufacturing process improvements
 </li>
 <li>
 Coordinate capital projects with suppliers (excluding technical selection and budgeting)
 </li>
 <li>
 Troubleshoot production issues and identify solutions to improve output and quality
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain and update technical, maintenance, and operational documentation
 </li>
 <li>
 Support ERP-driven production planning and job routing; use ERP tools and data mining for analysis and problem-solving
 </li>
 <li>
 Collaborate on 5S and Lean Manufacturing initiatives
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 Qualifications
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Engineering or related field (or Associate degree with equivalent experience)
 </li>
 <li>
 3&ndash;5 years of experience in manufacturing or process improvement
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience in metalworking or high-mix, low-volume production preferred
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong analytical skills and familiarity with ERP systems
 </li>
 <li>
 Hands-on, collaborative approach to cross-department coordination
 </li>
