Job Summary Join our vibrant team as an After School After Care Instructor, where your enthusiasm and dedication will create a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for children after school hours. In this role, you will lead fun and educational activities, manage classroom behavior, and support children&rsquo;s social and emotional development. Your positive energy will inspire children to explore, learn, and grow while ensuring their safety and well-being throughout the afternoon.Responsibilities<ul><li>Supervise children in a lively after-school setting, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all participants.</li><li>Plan and facilitate engaging activities that promote creativity, teamwork, and personal growth, including arts and crafts, sports, theater, and educational games.</li><li>Manage classroom behavior using positive reinforcement techniques to foster respect and cooperation among children.</li><li>Provide basic first aid when necessary and respond promptly to any injuries or emergencies following established protocols.</li><li>Support children with special needs or those requiring additional assistance by implementing individualized strategies aligned with their development plans.</li><li>Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and school staff regarding children&rsquo;s progress and any concerns that arise during program hours.</li><li>Maintain a clean, organized activity space that encourages safety and creativity while adhering to all childcare regulations.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Prior experience working with children in settings such as daycare, camp counseling, tutoring, or babysitting is highly preferred.</li><li>Strong skills in classroom management and behavior management techniques to create a positive atmosphere.</li><li>Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices.</li><li>Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional certifications in special education or child psychology are a plus.</li><li>Ability to engage children through sports coaching, theatrical activities, or other creative outlets that support their growth.</li><li>Excellent communication skills to collaborate with parents, colleagues, and children effectively.</li><li>A genuine passion for working with children of diverse backgrounds and abilities in a dynamic environment.
