Overview EnclaveJoy Ride is seeking a reliable and professional Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) Driver to operate wheelchair-accessible vans. The role delivers safe, timely, and courteous transportation for patients and clients requiring non-emergency medical travel. Prior wheelchair-van experience is not required &mdash; comprehensive training provided. This is a paid position that supports community health and well-beingDuties<ul><li>Safely operate wheelchair-accessible vans, shuttles, or cars to transport passengers to medical appointments, therapy sessions, and other destinations.</li><li>Assist passengers with boarding, securement of mobility devices, and disembarking while ensuring comfort and safety.</li><li>Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform basic checks (fueling, inspections); report mechanical issues promptly.</li><li>Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.</li><li>Communicate professionally with dispatch, healthcare facilities, and passengers to coordinate schedules and address special needs.</li><li>Provide excellent customer service &mdash; courteous, respectful, and attentive to passenger needs.</li><li>Assist with heavy lifting when necessary (mobility devices, luggage) while following safe-lifting procedures.</li><li>Maintain accurate trip records, mileage logs, and vehicle maintenance documentation as required.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Valid driver&rsquo;s license with F-Endorsement or Commercial Driver&rsquo;s License (CDL) and a clean driving record.</li><li>Experience in delivery driving, shuttle, or bus/paratransit driving preferred.</li><li>Strong communication and customer service skills.</li><li>Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including safe heavy lifting.</li><li>Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and ability to identify/report issues.</li><li>CPR/First Aid certification and DOT physical certificate are a plus, but not required.</li><li>Ability to follow detailed routes and schedules while maintaining safety standards.</li></ul>Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Company car</li><li>Flexible schedule</li><li>Fuel card</li><li>Paid training</li></ul>Work Location: In person
