This position offers a fantastic opportunity to leverage your technical skills in a fast-paced environment where every day presents new challenges and opportunities for growth.&lt;Duties&gt;<ul><li>Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration systems (including ammonia refrigeration), and ventilation equipment.</li><li>Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, technical manuals, and HVAC design documents to accurately troubleshoot issues.</li><li>Conduct field service visits to diagnose mechanical problems using tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment; ensure timely repairs to minimize downtime.</li><li>Maintain property systems by performing plumbing repairs, appliance servicing, equipment repairs, and general property maintenance tasks.</li><li>Operate vehicles such as &lt;PERSON&gt; drivers to transport tools, parts, or equipment safely between job sites.</li><li>Use mechanical knowledge to repair or replace components like compressors, fans, motors, valves, and piping systems.</li><li>Follow safety protocols related to HVAC/R systems and handle refrigerants responsibly in compliance with environmental regulations.</li><li>Collaborate with team members on complex projects involving HVAC design modifications or upgrades; contribute ideas for system improvements.</li><li>Document all service activities thoroughly and update maintenance logs; communicate effectively with clients regarding work performed or needed.</li></ul>&lt;Requirements&gt;<ul><li>Proven experience as a service technician specializing in HVAC systems; construction background is a plus.</li><li>Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in equipment repair and maintenance.</li><li>Familiarity with schematics, blueprints, HVAC design principles, and refrigeration systems including ammonia refrigeration.</li><li>Ability to operate diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters; skilled in welding and plumbing tasks.</li><li>Valid driver&rsquo;s license with a clean driving record; experience operating &lt;PERSON&gt; drivers preferred.</li><li>Knowledge of property maintenance procedures and appliance repair techniques.</li><li>Experience working with HVAC/R systems including air conditioning units, boilers, ventilation fans, and refrigeration units.</li><li>Ability to read technical manuals and schematics accurately; strong problem-solving skills in field service environments.</li><li>Certifications in HVAC/R are highly desirable; ongoing training or licensing is encouraged to stay current with industry standards.
