<Duties>

• Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration systems (including ammonia refrigeration), and ventilation equipment.
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, technical manuals, and HVAC design documents to accurately troubleshoot issues.
• Conduct field service visits to diagnose mechanical problems using tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment; ensure timely repairs to minimize downtime.
• Maintain property systems by performing plumbing repairs, appliance servicing, equipment repairs, and general property maintenance tasks.
• Operate vehicles such as <PERSON> drivers to transport tools, parts, or equipment safely between job sites.
• Use mechanical knowledge to repair or replace components like compressors, fans, motors, valves, and piping systems.
• Follow safety protocols related to HVAC/R systems and handle refrigerants responsibly in compliance with environmental regulations.
• Collaborate with team members on complex projects involving HVAC design modifications or upgrades; contribute ideas for system improvements.
• Document all service activities thoroughly and update maintenance logs; communicate effectively with clients regarding work performed or needed.

<Requirements>

• Proven experience as a service technician specializing in HVAC systems; construction background is a plus.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in equipment repair and maintenance.
• Familiarity with schematics, blueprints, HVAC design principles, and refrigeration systems including ammonia refrigeration.
• Ability to operate diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters; skilled in welding and plumbing tasks.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating <PERSON> drivers preferred.
• Knowledge of property maintenance procedures and appliance repair techniques.
• Experience working with HVAC/R systems including air conditioning units, boilers, ventilation fans, and refrigeration units.
• Ability to read technical manuals and schematics accurately; strong problem-solving skills in field service environments.
• Certifications in HVAC/R are highly desirable; ongoing training or licensing is encouraged to stay current with industry standards.
