Our Houston law firm is led by a seasoned attorney with decades of hands-on legal experience. We are a tight-knit team of 5-7 professionals handling Criminal, Personal Injury, and Immigration matters. We have seen consistent growth and are actively looking for the right person to grow alongside us &mdash; someone who is driven, caring, and ready to make a real impact on the people we serve.This is a full-time, in-office position suited for a motivated candidate who brings either prior experience in a law firm or professional services environment OR a college degree of any kind &mdash; you do not need both to be considered. From day one, you will play a meaningful role in how potential clients experience our firm. Your ability to make someone feel heard and welcomed during what is often a stressful time in their life is just as important to us as your administrative skills.Compensation: $18&ndash;$23 per hour (based on experience and qualifications)Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:<ul><li>Answer and manage a multi-line phone system while welcoming clients in a warm and professional manner</li><li>Have genuine, compassionate conversations with potential new clients who may be going through a difficult time, making them feel comfortable and confident in our firm</li><li>Conduct all client interactions in both English and Spanish fluently</li><li>Coordinate attorney schedules, manage client intake, and maintain organized case calendars</li><li>Handle a broad range of administrative duties including drafting correspondence, document filing, and data entry</li><li>Treat all client and case information with the highest level of confidentiality</li><li>Pitch in on daily office needs and special projects as they arise</li></ul>What We Are Looking For:<ul><li>Either prior experience working in a law firm or professional services environment OR a college degree of any kind &mdash; one is enough to qualify and both are welcome</li><li>Full fluency in Spanish, both spoken and written, is a firm requirement &mdash; the majority of our clients communicate in Spanish</li><li>A natural communicator who makes people feel welcomed, heard, and at ease from the moment they call or walk through the door</li><li>Someone who is comfortable having genuine conversations with people who may be stressed or uncertain, and who can represent the firm with warmth and professionalism</li><li>Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) and openness to learning legal software platforms</li><li>Detail-oriented, punctual, dependable, and a true team player</li><li>A genuine desire to build a long-term career with a firm that is actively expanding</li><li>Available to work full time in office Monday through Friday 9AM to 5PM</li></ul>Bonus Skills (Nice to Have, Not Required):<ul><li>Any background in customer service, hospitality, or client-facing roles where building rapport was important</li><li>Experience in sales or client acquisition</li><li>Familiarity with social media platforms or content</li><li>Prior experience in a law firm or legal environment</li></ul>What You Will Gain:<ul><li>Competitive hourly compensation with real room to grow as the firm expands</li><li>Direct exposure to Criminal, Personal Injury, and Immigration cases from day one</li><li>A collaborative small-team environment with close access to an experienced attorney</li><li>A genuine career growth opportunity &mdash; we want to invest in the right person for the long term</li></ul>If you are bilingual, naturally warm and communicative, and ready to play a meaningful role in the growth of a Houston law firm, we want to hear from you.
