This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in warehouse management, heavy equipment operation, and materials handling within a collaborative environment committed to growth and excellence.Responsibilities<ul><li>Safely operate heavy equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the warehouse</li><li>Manage inventory control using warehouse management systems (WMS) to ensure accurate stock levels and proper storage</li><li>Perform product stocking, order picking, packing, and shipping &amp; receiving tasks to fulfill customer orders efficiently and accurately</li><li>Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts to maintain precise inventory records and prevent discrepancies</li><li>Load and unload shipments with attention to safety protocols outlined by OSHA standards while handling heavy lifting tasks</li><li>Utilize mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues and performing basic maintenance on warehouse machinery</li><li>Organizing warehouse to maximise space</li><li>Abiding by all company safety and hyiene regulations</li><li>In addition to having excellent written and verbal communication skills, our ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate physical fitness, with the ability to lift up to a maximum of 50 pounds</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Extensive experience with inventory management systems.</li><li>Proficiency in operating forklifts and pallet jacks.</li><li>Strong understanding of warehouse distribution processes including shipping &amp; receiving, order fulfillment, picking &amp; packing</li><li>Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and best practices for materials handling and heavy lifting</li><li>Mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting equipment issues and performing basic repairs or maintenance</li><li>Prior warehouse supervisor experience or leadership skills to support team coordination and workflow efficiency</li><li>Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control procedures to optimize stock accuracy</li></ul>The Epik culture is something we hold at our core and includes being trustworthy, passionate in all that we do, positive in nature, humble, and above all, being a team player.
